Nearly 80 7-Eleven stores held grand openings in 2008, with two-day celebrations that featured music, clowns, free energy drinks, the Illinois Lottery prize wheel and 25-cent charcoal-grilled hot dogs. In fact, last year customers enjoyed more than 100,000 hot dogs, 32,000 donuts and nearly 20,000 sandwich samples. Oh Thank Heaven!
